Beyond radio broadcasting, KCPR actively collaborates with San Luis Obispo's local community to amplify emerging musicians and alternative art. Role: Marketing Coordinator and Radio Disc Jockey
Marketing Coordinator - My objective was to expand our audience within the Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo communities. Throughout the year, we achieved significant growth by implementing strategies such as ticket giveaways, partnerships with local businesses, engaging social media content, and hosting free events.
Disc Jockey - Twice weekly, I curated two-hour Radio DJ shows, staying ahead of trending new and alternative music to broadcast on air.

Love on the Lawn, a Valentine's Day Concert
This marked my inaugural event organization endeavor. Holding the student presidency at Cal Poly housing concurrently, I leveraged both roles to orchestrate an event that mutually benefited both entities through increased visibility.
KCPR gained the privilege of hosting its premier concert at the newly inaugurated yakʔitʸutʸu dormitories. Simultaneously, student housing collaborated directly with KCPR to deliver a distinctive and complimentary event for students.

The Sofa Festival: Our Response to Covid-19
The Sofa Festival emerged as our proactive response to the Covid-19 crisis when all live events ceased in May 2020 and Cal Poly students were required to quarantine at home. I collaborated with local artists to schedule live stream sessions on our Instagram platform, offering students the opportunity to enjoy the performances they craved during these challenging times.
