TEDx was established in line with TED's mission to foster dialogue through TED experiences at the grassroots level. In 2022, the TEDxSanLuisObispo conference took place at Cal Poly's Performing Arts Center and showcased eight inspirational speakers to an audience of over 500 people.
Role: Master of Ceremonies
I orchestrated the opening, closing, and seamless transitions between eight diverse speakers throughout a two-hour event. In front of a 500-person audience, my responsibility included providing context about each speaker while maintaining a positive atmosphere between lengthy and intricate talks.
Skills Utilized
This event highlights my capacity to understand my audience and develop relevant content for diverse topics. Collaborating with a co-host, I co-MCed the event and incorporated conversational skits that resonated with the audience. Additionally, I have included several photos from the event along with a selection of my favorite TEDx talks from that evening.
